Our Story

Garnet Retreat Group was founded by three business owners who, through their own journeys of growth and self-discovery, became close friends. United by a shared passion for helping others find clarity and purpose, they created a retreat space where individuals can reconnect with or discover their true selves. Their combined experience in wellness, personal development, and entrepreneurship allows them to offer a transformative and supportive environment for those seeking deeper alignment with their authentic selves.

Meet The Team

Patrick Thompson

Patrick spent years studying physics to discover it was not aligned with what fulfilled him. In a period of crises of purpose and meaning he had a series of revelations in which he discovered that every individual has an archetype that dictates what we ought to do with our lives. He realized his purpose was to create things for the sake of Beauty, in and of itself. He started building tiny homes and went on to found his own construction company in the pursuit of creating beautiful living spaces in this world. Having helped others on this path, he formulated his ideas and developed a system to help people find their own archetype and purpose.

Chelsie Capanear

Chelsie is a self made entrepreneur. Her background is in retail management where she spent years pouring her hard work into building success with for other companies without any personal fulfillment. Tired of the lack of meaning and creativity in her life, she decided to leave her career behind and build something for herself. She took a risk, utilizing her natural interests and professional skills to create her own business. Through hard work, perseverance, and consistency, she established a successful brand that gives her a deep sense of fulfillment along with greater financial independence. She now aims to use her experiences to assist others in finding success through authentic self expression.

Lauren Flores

Lauren is the owner and creator behind xtwii, a multi-faceted business that's core is one of a kind jewelry. Over the years it has evolved to offering services and guidance that stem from her background of hospitality. A former professional chef, she simultaneously conducted a kitchen and her business before making the leap in 2019 to pursue xtwii as her full time endeavor. Her story is one of resilience, passion, adaptation, and combining mottos from her original path of the culinary arts into her works now. Her biggest mottos are "Passionate people react passionately," and "If you want something bad enough, you'll find a way to make it work." Lauren's mission has always been to give people an experience over a product, weaving stories and lessons with metal and crystals to help people connect with a deeper meaning.
